Good start up information and a good review for one who has been absent from the sport for more the sport for more than a little while. Presenting the fly along with a list of material needed for it creation is a strong plus for this book. Enjoy reading and reviewing this useful reference material.
This book is a VERY easy read (10 minutes). All it does is tells you a very short description of 15 flies. Since I purchased is as an e-book for 99 cents, it was worth the price. I have since added some of these flies to my fly box and anticipate trying them out in the near future.
Excellent presentation although I didn't agree with all the choices. The Deer Hair Humpy for example tends to be fragile and easily replaced with a poly or foam hump which is not fragile or easily waterlogged.
Nice list of must have flies. Good starting point for the beginner. Would have given 5 stars if it included tying instructions as well.
