Amazing book. It covers all the important aspects that you need know as a physician wanting to perform statistical tests using SPSS. One of the great aspects about this book is that it gives you practice datasets in which you could double check if you did the analysis correctly. Also, it explains the assumptions of each statistical test and explain when should it be used.
Clear explanation of concepts. This book is also a good reference for readers who already have some background in statistics but would like to get a refresher on biostatistical concepts.
Brought it for a doctor at work - other that it came on time I can't say anything more
Ok, this is the only book I give review because the author is highly intelligent with the way the example she provided. Many Statistics book come with a lot of story and nonsense in an attempt to prolong the pages. But this one do not and the book cover a lot of things that will gurantee for your excitement to keep you to the end of the pages . No wonder she's the head of Sydney.
